`Aki `aki   Sporobolus virginicus

Description:  This coastal grass is extremely hardy and thrives in hot, dry, windy conditions. Often seen growing in coastal areas, this grass may be mistaken for an unmowed bermuda grass. With its salt tolerance and low water requirements, this grass is an ideal choice for covering large areas in dry environments. It send out runners and will creep and spread. We grow this grass from cuttings.
