Kāwelu   Eragrostis variabilis

Kāwelu is an under-appreciated, endemic, clumping grass.  It is drought tolerant and great for filling in spaces for erosion control or weed suppression.  It thrives in exposed, full sun, windy habitats, and will also be happy at the foot of your natives in your home landscape.
