ʻCalamansiʻ LIME
The Calamansi citrus fruit, also known as Calamondin, holds a special place in the Philippines, prized for its prolific fruit production and versatile culinary uses. Its small sour orange fruits are utilized much like limes, adding a tangy kick to various dishes and beverages. Beyond its culinary value, Calamondin trees boast fragrant blooms that enhance their ornamental appeal, along with a handsome, compact habit that makes them ideal for container gardening. With their zesty, acidic juice and sour mandarin flavor, Calamondins offer a delightful taste experience. Self-fertile and grafted onto semi-dwarf rootstock, they typically reach heights of 10 to 15 feet when planted in the ground and 6 to 8 feet when grown in pots.  But what truly makes Calamondin trees beloved is their everbearing nature, ensuring a continuous display of fragrant blooms and delicious fruit nearly year-round. With their beauty, flavor, and continuous bounty, Calamondin trees are cherished additions to any landscape or container garden.
